Terdapat dua siri daripada berlian sebatian tersedia, DCW and DCO, DCW stands for water soluble series and DCO stands for oil soluble series, and depends on the type of diamond powders used , diamond pasts are also classified into –M and –P, -M stands for Monocrystalline and –P stands for Polycrystalline. Diamond compounds are recommended to be used with lubricant to make a smooth penggilap proses dan to enhance the polishing effect.
